Cosmetica Pro Training
In-Person Training Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: July 2026
Welcome to Cosmetica Pro Training.
At Cosmetica Pro, our commitment extends beyond simply teaching a treatment. We are passionate about developing skilled, knowledgeable and confident artists who uphold the highest standards within the beauty industry.
Our courses are designed to provide a supportive, hands-on learning experience while fostering professionalism, ethical practice and ongoing growth.
By enrolling in any in-person training course, workshop or masterclass with Cosmetica Pro, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Course Bookings & Payments
Your place in a course is not confirmed until the required deposit or full payment has been received.
Where a deposit option is available:
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- The remaining course balance must be paid by the due date outlined at the time of booking.
- Students with outstanding balances may not be permitted to attend training until payment has been received in full.
- If a student chooses to pay the full course fee at the time of booking, 20% of the total course fee will be deemed the non-refundable deposit and will be subject to the same cancellation and rescheduling terms outlined in this policy.
- Failure to complete payment by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Due to the limited number of places available in each training course, the following cancellation and rescheduling policy applies.
Cosmetic Tattoo Training Courses
(Examples include Machine Brows, Lip Tattoo, Eyeliner, Colour Correction and other multi-day cosmetic tattoo courses.)
More than 4 weeks before course commencement
- You may reschedule your booking once without penalty, subject to course availability.
- Any deposit paid will be transferred to your new training date.
- Deposits remain non-refundable should you choose to cancel your enrolment.
- Any additional payments made beyond the deposit will be refunded.
Within 4 weeks of course commencement
Should you cancel or request to reschedule your booking within four (4) weeks of the course commencement date, a fee equal to 50% of the total course fee will apply.
Any eligible refund will be calculated after deducting the applicable cancellation/rescheduling fee.
Brow, Lash & Beauty Training Courses
(Examples include Brow Styling, Brow Lamination, Lash Lift, Korean Lash Lift, Brow Dye, Tinting, Waxing and other short courses or workshops.)
More than 2 weeks before course commencement
- You may reschedule your booking once without penalty, subject to availability.
- Any deposit paid will be transferred to your new training date.
- Deposits remain non-refundable should you choose to cancel your enrolment.
- Any additional payments made beyond the deposit will be refunded.
Within 2 weeks of course commencement
Should you cancel or request to reschedule your booking within two (2) weeks of the course commencement date, a fee equal to 50% of the total course fee will apply.
Any eligible refund will be calculated after deducting the applicable cancellation/rescheduling fee.
Special Circumstances
Unfortunately, we are unable to make exceptions to the above cancellation and rescheduling policy due to:
- Illness
- Injury
- Pregnancy
- Family commitments
- Work commitments
- Travel disruptions
- Change of mind
- Personal circumstances
Students travelling to attend training are encouraged to obtain suitable travel insurance.
Course Changes by Cosmetica Pro
Cosmetica Pro reserves the right to:
- Reschedule training dates if required.
- Substitute educators where necessary.
- Cancel or postpone a course due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient enrolments.
Where Cosmetica Pro cancels a course, students will be offered either:
- A transfer to another available course date; or
- A full refund of monies paid.
Cosmetica Pro is not responsible for accommodation, flights, transport, loss of income or other travel-related expenses.
Model Requirements
Many of our courses include practical training using live models.
Where applicable:
- Students may be required to source suitable models.
- Model requirements will be outlined within the individual course information.
- Models must meet the suitability requirements provided by Cosmetica Pro.
- Models must be available for the required appointment times.
- Models must consent to photography and/or videography where required for educational or promotional purposes.
If suitable models cannot be secured, practical training may need to be postponed.
Additional practical model sessions outside scheduled course times may incur additional fees.
Student Responsibilities
To gain the greatest benefit from your training, students agree to:
- Complete any required pre-course study.
- Review all training manuals and learning materials before attending.
- Arrive prepared with questions.
-Participate fully in both theory and practical components.
- Practice techniques taught throughout the course.
- Continue developing their skills following completion of training.
Attendance
Students are expected to:
- Arrive on time.
- Attend all scheduled sessions.
- Notify Cosmetica Pro as soon as possible if unforeseen circumstances prevent attendance.
- Participate respectfully throughout the course.
Missed training sessions may not be repeated and additional mentoring sessions may incur additional fees.
Student Learning Support
If you have any learning difficulties, accessibility requirements or medical considerations that may affect your participation, please notify us before your course begins so we can discuss appropriate support where reasonably possible.
Student Code of Conduct
To maintain a safe and enjoyable learning environment, all students are expected to:
- Treat educators, staff, fellow students and models with professionalism and respect.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Follow all infection prevention and control procedures.
- Respect academy equipment and facilities.
- Use mobile phones responsibly during training.
- Conduct themselves honestly and ethically.
Bullying, harassment, discrimination, abusive behavior or unsafe practices will not be tolerated.
Health & Safety
Students agree to:
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Follow educator instructions at all times.
- Wear appropriate clothing and enclosed footwear suitable for practical training.
- Use all equipment correctly and safely.
Students who behave in a manner that places themselves or others at risk may be removed from practical training.
Photography & Media Consent
Photographs and videos may be taken during training for educational and promotional purposes.
These images may be used across:
- Website
- Social media
- Printed marketing
- Educational material
- Promotional content
If you do not wish to appear in marketing material, please advise us in writing before your course commences.
Recording During Training
Students are welcome to photograph their own work unless otherwise advised.
To protect the intellectual property of Cosmetica Pro:
- Audio recording is not permitted.
- Video recording of demonstrations or teaching content is not permitted without prior written permission.
- Training manuals and demonstrations must not be reproduced, distributed or uploaded online.
Intellectual Property
All training content provided by Cosmetica Pro, including but not limited to:
- Training manuals
- Workbooks
- Presentations
- Videos
- Demonstrations
- Templates
- Course structure
- Teaching methods
- Photography
- Digital resources
- Marketing material
remains the exclusive intellectual property of Cosmetica Pro.
Your enrolment grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use these materials solely to support your own professional practice.
Without prior written permission, students must not:
- Copy or reproduce course materials.
- Photograph or scan manuals for distribution.
- Share digital resources.
- Upload course content online.
- Sell or distribute training resources.
- Use Cosmetica Pro materials or teaching methods to educate others.
- Present Cosmetica Pro intellectual property as their own.
Unauthorised use may result in legal action where permitted by law.
Certification
Certificates of Completion will be issued once the educator is satisfied that:
- Attendance requirements have been met.
- Required practical components have been completed.
- All course fees have been paid in full.
- The student has demonstrated a satisfactory understanding of the course material.
A Certificate of Completion confirms successful completion of Cosmetica Pro training only.
It does not guarantee employment, business success, licensing, accreditation beyond the scope of the course or ongoing competency without continued practice.
Ongoing Support
Many Cosmetica Pro courses include ongoing educator support.
Where support is included, it is intended to assist students with questions relating to techniques taught during training.
Cosmetica Pro reserves the right to determine the scope and duration of any complimentary post-course support.
Additional mentoring or one-on-one coaching may incur additional fees.
Acceptance of Risk
Many courses involve practical training using professional equipment, pigments, chemicals, sharp instruments and cosmetic products.
Students acknowledge that they participate in practical activities at their own risk and agree to follow all educator instructions and safety procedures.
Failure to follow safety requirements may result in removal from practical training.
Right to Refuse or Discontinue Training
Cosmetica Pro reserves the right to refuse enrolment or discontinue training where a student:
- Behaves in a threatening, abusive or inappropriate manner.
- Attends training under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Repeatedly disregards educator instructions.
- Places clients, models, educators or other students at risk.
- Engages in bullying, harassment or discrimination.
- Breaches these Terms & Conditions.
Where a student is removed due to misconduct, no refund will be payable.
Privacy
Personal information collected during enrolment will be handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act and will only be used for purposes relating to your training and communication with Cosmetica Pro.
Agreement
By enrolling in any in-person training course with Cosmetica Pro, you acknowledge that you have:
- Read these Terms & Conditions.
- Understood these Terms & Conditions.
- Agreed to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
- Accepted the applicable booking, payment, cancellation, rescheduling and refund policies.
